The Shedden Community Development Corporation is a non-profit volunteer group of individuals devoting to creating, maintaining, promoting, and enhancing economic development initiatives for the Town of Spanish and surrounding areas.

Goals:

•	To nurture the pride, image and identity we have in the community
•	Demonstrate dedication to our community through involvement and commitment toward activities which benefit our community and its surroundings
•	Foster and support a diverse and stable local economy through tourism, commerce and industry
•	Promote the community as an ideal location to work, play and live
•	Encourage and support entrepreneurship and small business
•	Coordinate community fundraising toward major capital projects based upon agreed community priorities
•	Actively pursue opportunities along with other communities
•	Encourage life long learning and training
