Welcome to the quaint little town of Spanish which is situated on North Channel of Lake Huron, and at the mouth of the Spanish River.  In addition, it is not far from the famous Benjamin Islands, a short fifteen miles.  Whether you are traveling by water or land, Spanish is a natural stopover for all visitors. Spanish is centrally located between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie on the Trans-Canada Highway 17. A mere 118 kilometers; 73 miles west of Sudbury and 189 kilometers; 117 miles east of Sault Ste. Marie.
